We are also a member of the National Association of Investigative Specialists, The National Association of Professional Process Servers, and The Missouri Association of Private Investigators.

 

As co-owner of Fox Trotter Investigations,LLC, Caryn is the Office Manager and one of the Investigators for the Fox Trotter Firm.  Caryn has 30 years experience with county government in the areas of county planning and zoning enforcement, with 7 years as the County Planning Director for Routt County Colorado (Northwest Colorado). Caryn also has 2 years experience in Municipal law enforcement with the City of Steamboat Springs in Northwest Colorado. With extensive experience in pre-employment investigations and analysis, Caryn plays a key role in the successful  Background  Investigations Division of Fox Trotter Investigations,LLC. She can ensure that your hiring decisions are made with confidence and knowledge concerning the history of your employment, service, or membership applicants.

 

Jim founded Fox Trotter Investigations,LLC in early 2009 after graduating from The Private Investigators Academy of the Rockies in Denver, Colorado.  During his law enforcement career with the Routt County Colorado Sheriff's Office Jim was responsible for the pre-employment screenings and background investigations of new Sheriff's Office Applicants.  He not only conducted the background investigations for new applicants  but also conducted oral board interviews with the potential candidates. Jim is a 2006 graduate of the Background Investigations for Police Applicants class conducted by Harvey, Ward & Assoc. of Dallas, TX.  As a Sergeant with the Routt County Sheriff's Office, Jim was also the Prisoner Transports Coordinator and was responsible for the armed security transports of Jail and Prison inmates. Jim gained experience with Process Service while at the Sheriff's Office, serving numerous legal papers in the course of his duties.  He is also a graduate of the Courthouse Security Class conducted by the retired US Marshall's Court Security expert Ms. Tina Rowe.  Jim has worked as a Federal Security Agent for The Department of Homeland Security and takes safety and security very seriously.
