Fox Trotter Investigations,LLC, located outside of Ava, Missouri (Southwest Missouri) is owned and operated by Caryn Fox and James Trotter (Jim). Jim is a Vietnam Military Veteran and Certified Peace Officer from Colorado. He is a graduate of The Private Investigators Academy of the Rockies in Denver and a member of the National Association of Investigative Specialists. As a Sergeant with The Routt County Sheriff's Office in Steamboat Springs Colorado, Jim was the Background Investigator for all new Sheriff's Office employee candidates. Caryn has 27 years of county government planning and zoning experience with 7 years as Department Director. She was responsible for investigating and approving all countywide planning and zoning projects and conducting pre-employment background investigations for the Planning Department applicants.
